Chapter 10 ~ New Discoveries

The walk back to Corinth was untroubled, and when the twosome arrived in the city, Adonis was waiting. “Hello, Your Majesty. I assume your trip was successful?”
“No, actually, it wasn’t. Kyros attacked me when we left the city, and he’s tied up in the woods somewhere now.
“What will become of him?” Adonis nervously asked.
“I am not sure, but you’ll find out,” Kendra replied.
“How will I find out if you haven’t decided yet?” Adonis asked, stuttering slightly.
“You’ll find out because you’ll be there when I decide, as you’re coming with me.” Adonis broke into a run, desperately trying to get away from Kendra. She sighed, exchanged glances with her father, and raced after him.
Catching up to him, she grabbed Adonis by the toga he wore. “You’re not getting away that easy mister. Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you.”
He turned around. “How can I be sure you won’t hurt me? For all I know, you are an imposter pretending to be who you say you are and have already killed Kyros.”
“And yet, I haven’t killed you, although I could have many times. That goes to show you, I am a women of my word. You should respect that.”
“Perhaps I will go with you then, as it seems as though I do not have a choice.”
“You are right, you don’t have annother choice. Call three guards, I need their cuffs to handle some prisoners of mine. Then send them away, as I don’t want unnecessary cargo. Understand?”
“Yes,” Adonis called the guards. They were surprised at his request for the cuffs, but they didn’t question his orders. They left and Adonis followed Kendra out of the city. “May I ask where we are headed?” he asked.
“No you may not, as you do not need to know. It is something for me to know and you to find out.” She was silent the rest of the trip.

This is...it's amazing that you can write this much, and this is a very well-written story, but it's just not very interesting in my opinion. Sorry.
