Chapter 3
Jonah and I walked over to where Abbie's mom had set up snacks. I grabbed a handful of chips and stuffed them in my mouth. I know people say that pigging out isn't the most attractive quality but I didn't care. Jonah handed me a cup filled with apple juice..I think."Thanks", I said and snatched the cup out of his hands.
Jonah put his hands around my waste I looked me right in the eyes, "did I ever tell you how pretty you look today".
"No you didn't", I said awkwardly.
I focused on a small dot of chip dip on the corner of his lips.
"well you look beautiful", he kissed me.
I pulled away, "we should probably get back to Abbie and Ella we kind of disappeared from them".
"Just a second", he kissed me again.
I let him and then once his face had left mine I said, "seriously Abbie really wants me to get to know Ella".
"Would if she try's to kiss you", Jonah said.
"Jonah"!
"What she's gay".
"That doesn't mean she goes around kissing every girl she sees. She'd probably find that very offense"!
And with that I left. Ella walked up to me.
"Hi. Abbie told me I needed to hang out with you", Ella said.
"Of course she did. She has good intentions. She really wants us to be a group at school", I said.
Jonah was glaring at me from a distance. I looked at him and mouthed "whatever".
"What was that about", she asked?
"That's just my boyfriend", I answered.
"Cool. He's cute", maybe it was just me but there was a hint of disappointment.
"Yeah. We've been dating for awhile now. He's pissed because he doesn't want me hanging out with you".
Ella looked hurt.
"But I don't care", I said quickly, "Jonah can be a jerk sometimes".
"Then why are you with him"?
"He has another side also really fun and funny".
"Oh".
Abbie walked over smiling she was with griffin her long time crush. I have her 'the look' and she grinned ever more.
"Are you two having a good time", Abbie asked?
"Yeah", I said.
"Tess was just telling me about her boyfriend", Ella said.
"I don't know if you noticed Tess but Jonah left", Abbie said sadly.
"What", I exclaimed.
Jonah was SO overreacting. I was aloud to hang out with who I wanted it wasn't like I was cheating on him.
"Sorry", Ella said.
"How could he just leave", I said.
"Boys sometimes suck. No offense griffin", Abbie said.
"None taken", griffin said.
"You should probably call him", Abbie suggested.
"Okay", I responded.
I really didn't want to call him but I did.
