Anyways heres the minimum training to be a cop in the area I'm in:
-All of the training happens in 9 months
-Mental health wise, the test, assuming it's on a 100 point scale, just a 1 and a half point difference can separate 2 people in 9 spots. Unsure how it works entirely but its bad.
-In these 9 months, each week has like, 20 hours of training. That's generous.
Information about the recruits themselves:
-Most are usually people who wanted to join the military but couldnt. See More If not, ex military or just need a job.
-Everyone gets a civilian mental health evaluation. The same for if you were to but a gun.
-You should go to a school after getting the license but most dont. Not required but really good to actually be a good cop.

If you're gonna say a slur at least be reclaiming it. If not dont try and defend yourself if you do say it. If you didnt know just change it and dont argue. I try not to talk about it but the r slur (I refuse to say it) has been used against me ALL THE TIME. It still hurts. Dont say the f slur if you arent LGBT!!! And dont get defensive when you're told xont say rhat!!! When I vented about people saying the r slur someone straight up called me it in the surver and currently waiting on the mods to respond (it's like, anywhere from 2-6am for people so I won't expect any immediate replies). If you do that and get angry you got kicked I'm not gonna have any sympathy.
