What kind of alter are you? For DID/OSDD-1 systems!
DID and OSDD-1 are classified dissociative disorders in the DSM-5 in which a person's personality is unable to fully integrate into one personality due to repeated and severe trauma before the ages of 7-9 when the personality integrates in normal development. Because of this, a person is left with multiple personalities that take on roles in order to protect the body and the traumatized child. These alternate states of consciousness, or alters, continue to live inside that child's head even into adulthood and keep fulfilling their roles to the best of their ability. Their roles may change, and new alters may pop up. This quiz is designed to give alters (or curious people) an idea of what their job in the system is, and doesn't apply to unchanging statuses.
