Banned Books Week. You've heard of it and want to take part, but you don't want to read some "boring" book just to participate. When we think of books that have been banned, our minds tend to think of the classic books (Gatsby, Tom Sawyer, etc.) that we were forced to read in high school, and maybe we even liked some of them. There are more books that have been challenged (which is someone wanting to take protective action against the book), censored (which is taking pieces of the book and marking out certain phrases, language, or offensive scenes), and banned (which is removal of the book from somewhere) that you would enjoy.
