A reasonably large lawn area, enclosed by a fence. Numerous paddocks, plus room for stables. A very small area, not much space. A large enough area for a small hutch. No garden. My animal will have to live indoors. Not much room at all, indoors or out, so absolutely minimal space. 2/8 Do you want your pet to be at your side 24/7? Yes, this pet will be like my best friend. Well, I'll be at their side 24/7 anyway! No, this animal has to keep to itself completely. I want an occasional cuddle, but no more. If I feel like bonding, I'll go to the pet, but it has to be ready to bond whenever I want to. I'll go to the pet when I feel like being with it. I want this pet to be more of a decoration than a pal. 3/8 What sort of person are you towards others? Generally grumpy and moody. Friendly, but antisocial. Interactive but too busy to be a social butterfly. I love being with other people, so I always have a smile on my face and am optimistic. I am usually happy, but sometimes get a bit grumpy. It's not that I don't like other people, I just prefer to keep to myself. My mood is forever changing. 4/8 How much time will you be able to dedicate to your pet? All my time. This pet will be my new life. I have a super busy schedule so I really don't want to have to do much more than feed it. Not much time - busy, busy, busy! A reasonable amount of time for maintenance, etc, but I won't have much time for bonding. Maybe an hour or two a week? I will be able to dedicate a fair bit of time daily. Not a huge amount, but some. 5/8 How much money can you allow for your pet's needs? I have barely any spare money to spend, so I want a super cheap pet. I have HEAPS of money to spend, and I'm willing to spend it on a great pet. Not a huge amount but enough to allow for food and basic maintenance - about $15 a week. I have a fair bit of money to spend, so I wouldn't mind something a bit fancy! A fairly reasonable amount... I don't mind spending a fair amount to get started, but I don't want to spend huge amounts of money after that. This pet is not my top priority, so not much money. 6/8 Why do you want to get a pet? To decorate my house. To have a companion in life, a best friend, a buddy. To make sure burglars don't break into my house. To liven up my home. To add some novelty to my life. To have an animal in my home - to improve the homely atmosphere. To practice responsibility and learn to take care of something. 7/8 How much experience do you have in caring for animals? A lot of experience, so I'm willing to go a bit out there! None, so I want to start with something small. I had pets growing up, so I have a basic idea. This isn't my first pet, so I've had the experience of caring for an animal before. Animals are my passion, so I have lots of experience. Not much, but I know enough to get a decent pet. Not a large amount of experience, but enough to be able to keep a simple animal healthy and happy. 8/8 Do you like exercise? Yes, so this animal has to be my exercise partner. I love getting outdoors and being active! No, I'm a super lazy, sleepy person. NO WAY! I'm far too busy! Well...I'm fit...but I don't exercise regularly! I love being outside, but not doing exercise. No...my exercising days are behind me now.
