Parents seem to think they know what's going on with their kids. I could be wrong, but the things certain parents do can lead to so much disadvantages such as; Arguments, Fighting, Neglect, Thoughts of Running Away, Doing Drugs, Panic Attacks, Lack of Interest, and much more. My parents spoil me and I like that, but they sometimes get in fights about spoiling me and my mom protects me most of the time when my dad gets angry. It really scares me when they fight even though they don't do it a lot I don't want to end up like my cousins who have divorced parents. Also I always get blamed for everything and my dad scares me and usually makes me cry and I hate it when we fight because I love him and my mom... I am in a really tough situation about telling See More my mom and dad that I have a boy friend that is in college and I am in middle school. Help?

My parents are just too strict. I'm not allowed to go on ANY social media, (No, not even this one), my parents never praise me when I do something good, but always put me down when I mess up, they always try to tell me how I feel about something and it makes me feel so angry. I am in 8th grade, I have never failed, I ask if I can take my money, (Because sometimes, I'm not even trusted enough to keep my own money) and they bring up stuff that happened in, like, 2nd or 3rd grade. See More They really just make me so angry. And after all this, they still wonder why I lock myself in my room 24/7. I barely have any friends because of a wall I keep up to block my emotions about how I feel, so I go on the internet and YouTube to feel the greatness in other people's lives. Which, they took one of the only things that made me happy. YouTube. I always watched Markiplier, Jacksepticeye and Pewdiepie everyday just to see their new videos, and in the middle of watching Jack play the last episode of Fran Bow, my step-mom walks in and says that I can't watch YouTube anymore because I snapped at my dad the other night because he was doing something I didn't want him to do. So they just ASSUMED that it was YouTube. And they don't even know WHAT I watch. They couldn't figure that it was because of everything else in my life, no, it HAD to be YouTube. It doesn't help that my mom isn't here to help soften the blow either...
Parents these days are totally different, I get that. They make it seem like we're reliving what they lived through growing and its unfair. You are loved <3

Mum said I can't go on a train to the city alone till i'm 18 but she said when i'm 18 I can go to vidcon in america by myself (i live in australia)
In my opinion, I would say, since you're 18, you should be able to do whatever you please besides underage drinking or drugs. Parents need to build trust in their kids. You are loved<3 I hope your parents work it out with you.

My parents are strict and I can't do anything and am not trusted, believe me they have good reasons, but I'm about to go in to high school and I am not enjoying how noisy they can be. And don't get me started on my baby brother. I will be 14 and my brothers going to be 2 and they want to have another kid. They don't ever consider my feeling and I just can't seem to do anything right...

I can't deal with my parents' noseiness either. They say 'We HAVE to watch everything you do on your phone! There could be a hacker texting you!' And then they get into how a hacker could pose as one of my friends. I THINK I CAN TELL WHO MY FRIENDS ARE AND WHO AREN'T!!!!

My parents are easy to persuade,so now my mom likes twenty one pilots..it's pretty weird
