if you are a friend of a trans person who uses a name other than their birth-name or different pronouns;
1. be respectful and call them those things- and DO NOT say you won't because you don't believe in their identity, or because they/them is "grammatically incorrect" (which it isn't at all)
2. if someone misgenders your friend in front of you, don't get mad and yell at the other person- this makes it awkward for the trans person and makes them feel bad for you being an See More asshole. just politely remind them later.
