What happened here?
That's why I asked.
It was. She lied about where she was going. She'd tell Sonic she was just off to the shops, when really she was off to stop Cerise and Jorja from whatever it was they were plotting at that time (it was always a different thing each time).

She's been lying to keep him safe, and out of dangerous situations she had to deal with alone.

Basically, Sonic has noticed why Jackie has recently started lying. So when Jackie tells the truth, it leads Sonic to not believe her, because it might be a lie again, which causes her eruption. Sonic then argues back, on his side, but Jackie storms out on him.
