Guys, Voldemort was being unreasonable when picking his horcruxes. No, don’t put one in the diary you had as a child. No, don’t put a horcrux into your pet.
What he should’ve done is chosen things like pebbles, grains of sand, and similar things.
But, even better. Instead of the snake, he should’ve put one of the horcruxes in a really nice old lady. That way, when Harry and co. come to kill her, she comes to the front door all, “Visitors! See More I haven’t gotten many visitors lately...do you want milk and cookies? I’m baking them right now.” Chances are Harry isn’t going to kill her, so they’d have to wait until she died naturally.
