(It’s the worst feeling in the world, worse than pain.
I should know. I’ve felt it way more than I should feel it.
It’s that feeling when you wake up trapped under the seat of your car, not remembering where you are. And when you remember, you think "Holy crap, I’m alive." And then you think "Holy crap, how the hell did I survive that?"
And then the pain sets in and you wish you were dead.
Then you look next to you and you see your sister and best friend still strapped to her See More seat, unconscious or dead, the headrest behind her red with blood.
And then you scream, or you think you scream because it hurts way too much and if you move a muscle more pain washes down your back and the scream turns into a strangled sob which ends up hurting even more.
