In Once Upon A Time, Rumplestiltskin/The Crocodile/The Beast, turns into Mr. Gold because of the curse. Belle loves the color and most likely the word as well. She wears the color gold both in the Disney movie and Once Upon A Time, if she loves both the color and the word gold, than was Rumplestiltskin's curse name a coincidence or on purpose? Does Belle love him because she really does see the good in his heart or does she love him because See More his surname is Gold and he owns a pawn shop probably full of gold?

I don't even really know how I came up with this..... I saw a picture with the Disney princesses all dressed in gold and I said: why are y'all in gold? That's Belle's color! And thought right after: and man......

I'm pretty sure that she loves him for his heart. Although the name might be an easter egg, it wouldn't (even subconsciously) be the reason fr a girl like Belle to fall for an evil sorcerer like Rumpel.
