I can't sleep
I don't want to sleep.
My nightmares are getting worse, more vivid.
It's the same thing every night, but with slight changes.
It was the same thing last night, monsters with faces of my closest friend/loved ones tearing out my organs, but last night the creature with Jason's face looked thrilled about tearing me apart, he looked excited to dig his claws into my abdomen and torture me further.

Ansolon pranced about, his long dark robes swaying around him. His rose gold hair bounced with every step he took. His young, innocent mind set on the array of pastries he was going to make. His bouncing came to an end, for he accidently toppled into someone. They were fairly tall, much taller than himself. His sepia eyes glanced up as he looked up at the country, "I'm sorry..."

Taylor figeted nervously in her father's car, not quite sure what to expect of the upcoming day. She'd been homeschooled by her parents her entire life, never having to stress about talking to strangers or worry about not fitting in. But her parent's divorce was inevitable, they constantly argued over petty topics and eventually began avoiding each other.
Her father's car came to a stop in front of the building. Teens of ages anywhere between See More fourteen and nineteen swarmed the field, parking lot and building itself. Some seemed to be rough housing out near the football field, others sitting on the hoods of their cars, either talking or choking on the smoke of tobacco that hung in the air.
Taylor looked to her father, nervous and uneasy "Do I have to?" she asked, her voice quaking. Her father nodded and gave a reassuring, yet forced, smile. "You're already in your sophmore year. I bet you'll be the smartest girl there!" he smiled, giving her a chaste hug. Taylor returned the hug, and hesitantly stepped out of the car. Her jeans clung to her legs, her dark t-shirt hanging from her shoulders. Her hair wasn't very long and looked almost boyish. She took a deep breath, ignoring the taste of smoke that hung in the air, and walked confidently into the school, ready to take on the challenges that today would throw at her.
