~It Can Dance Better Than Me~
It started of ordinary. My immediate family and a bunch of my relatives sat at a table, laughing and talking, sharing stories I know I'd already heard a billion times. Suddenly, my dad stood up. "I'm going to go carve the turkey," he said and went into the kitchen. I went back to whatever it was I was doing, as my stomach growled, awaiting the turkey. Suddenly, Cat Deeley, the house of the TV show So You Think You Can Dance walked into the dining See More room. "Where is the turkey?" She asked with her prominent British accent. The room was silent. I was in awe. Cat was one of my favorite TV show hosts, of one of my favorite TV shows. She was standing in my house. And she was even taller than on TV. Before anyone could say anything else, I stood. "My dad is carving it in the kitchen," I said, glad I wasn't sounding as starstruck as I currently felt. Cat nodded. "We have to get to it," Cat paused a moment, "before it refused." Refuses? Refuses what? I wanted to scream. We ran into the kitchen, where I had to blink a few times before realising what I was seeing. "Dad, the turkey is dancing!" I screamed. That turkey should have been dead. What the... My dad was standing, eyes wide, as he watched the dancing turkey. "And it's dancing better than me too," I marveled. The turkey was dancing an odd ballet routine, prancing across my kitchen island, randomly twirling and leaping through the air. Cat's smile was wide. She leaned down to whisper to me, "I'm going to ask the turkey to be a choreographer on the next season of So You Think You Can Dance," she said. I looked at her strangely.

"What?" I said incredulously. Cat nodded. "Come on, we have to get to it before it refuses the offer!" Cat ran to the turkey. She leaned down and filled it in on the job opportunity. So that's what Cat meant by refuse! Oh! I saw Cat smile triumphantly. The turkey leaped dramatically down to the floor. And swaggered across the room, following Cat out the door. See More Cat turned towards me, "Thanks for the help! If you ever want tickets to a live episode, just ask," she said and threw me a scrap of paper with an email address. Yay! I bet I'll get a seat close enough to those (extremely fit) male dancers. Cat and the turkey stepped into a large black limo. My mom looked at me,"You know," she said "we can always have chicken.

I think I'm getting addicted to this show on BBC. No, not Doctor Who, but I am starting that show soon :D
