chapter one
i walked to school like i normally do during the school year but this morning was different than others it was a cold early december morning and i walked wrapped up in my winter coat as the cold frostbit air nipped at my cheeks and hands, it was never usually this cold and i would have driven if my stupid dad hadn’t crashed my car by the river yesterday night. my name is madison but my friends call me maddie I’m sixteen and a sophomore in highschool I’m very excited See More becuase today we are getting a new student he transferred here all from Los Angeles California (L.A.) and his name is hayes i can’t wait to find out if we have any classes together maybe i could ask him to the spring formal coming up. mhm i don’t know what will happen but i hope i get to meet him.


*3 days before the spring formal*

as i get ready for the magcon concert i decide to facetime carter “ hi carter” i say walking out of the hotel room “ hey if want meet me back stage at the concert” he says “ sure see you there in five minutes i say .

i walked in and went too her parents “i'm so sorry mr. and mrs. *5 years later*me and carter walked inside the store and al of sudden these guys with guns come in “get down all of you” one of them said carter stayed standing up “oh guess we have a bad listener i can fix that” the other man said he was getting ready too shoot he fired and i jumped n front of carter getting shot in my side i cry out in pain and the men leave carter suhes too my side i start too feel light headed “carter….*caugh* i….*caugh*... love,,, you” i say and kiss him one last time before leaving

i got there and took pictures and they did this drawing too see which fan got too hang out with the boys and they called my name i ran backstage and the boys we're sitting there talking and laughing i then saw my cousin mahogany “mahogany” i say and run too her “hey cuz” she says and the boys give us a crazy look what me and mahogany do See More look alike i see taylor smile and i start too melt there is two places too sit on the floor or next too taylor i sit down next too taylor and puts his arm around me he starts twirling my hair and then the song haunted by evanescence comes on and i get up and start doing the lyrical dance i learned too it after i finish the boys stare at me in awe i check the time and it was 7:30 already “i should be going” i said i hugged each of them i went too kiss taylor on the cheek and he turned his head and we kissed
