Unlike most mermaids you live in a forest lake. The one rule is your never ever aloud to go above surface for there are men. Your voice was the best of all the mermaids in the forest, know for making the lake glow at midnight. One day a terribly accident happened, a tiny little merboy got caught in a fishing net and was starting to get dragged to the surface. You swim to the surface and help the merboy out. When you turn to swim off your tail gets caught in the net, you wriggle with all your might but in seconds your head is in the air. You start chewing for the net as footsteps get closer and closer. Your eyes dart around as fear consumes you to notice that the whole time a young man with long blond hair has been playing a harp the whole time. As if noticing someone looking at him his eyes slide towards you, appearing to be a emerald green like his clothes. He gasps and gently reaches for the net as you hiss. He shhes you and continues. He takes out a knife and cuts a hole in the top for your head before gently pulling your head through. He ties his harp to his back and calmly throws you over his shoulder as you tail turns to legs. He Laughed," Your a funny dolphin!" Thinking you've out witted him by turning human you smile successfully, then he splashes water on you and it reverses. He takes you back to a tree house, he leaves you on a couch to sleep till midnight. That night he sits you on a rock on his balcony and pulls out a harp. He began to play a tune you say to every night. You fight the urge to sing and as if knowing that a mermaid curse is to sing whenever their tune is played, He tells you not to fight it. You don't stop till dawn. Then he takes you back to the lake and cuts you free before leaving. That night you return to the surface at midnight to find him waiting with his harp, you asked him what he was doing and he said he was waiting for you. For the second night in a row you sang to his harp and when day broke you kissed and lived happily ever after.
