(Starter post for @Yamilettethehedgehog and I.)
The arena was hot,the sand that was below Teivnu's front claws felt sticky and too warm. The sun glared down on him,and he still felt hot even with short fur. His ears perked as he heard noises coming from the stands,a ton of people watching,eagerly waiting for a fight.
"Good day for a swell battle,ain't that right folks?" A male voice echoed from somewhere Teivnu couldn't see. The crowd broke into an uproar at his words,clearly See More excited. "Today we've got some new competitors in store for 'ya. This large fellow," if he was visible he would be motioning to Teivnu below on the sandy ground. The crowd fell silent,all mostly looking over him curiously. "And this lovely lass." He would be motioning to another corner where Yamilette sat expectantly.

One of the workers turned to her,motioning the other away from Teivnu. "Calm down,lady. We're just trying to put him back in his cage. We don't need him runnin around and causing havoc. We need to get you patched up anyway." He nodded towards the semi-open door on the other side of the arena. "One of the other workers can take ya to see someone." He glanced back See More down at her bleeding arm. "You won't last long moving around."

The workers backed up away from her,shaking their heads. One of them murmured something to another,and with a nod the other dashed off into the open gate of the arena. A few other workers came back with ropes,and a makeshift sort of collar. Teivnu backed up against the arena wall with a hiss,swatting a clawed paw at one of the workers. "We're just gonna put 'ya See More back,no need to be so tough."
