(Advice for young writers)
“Well there are theee main things; you need to read a lot, which I’m sure you probably already do. But that’s where you’re going to get your experience about how stories are told and what kind of stories you like. Second thing: you gotta write a lot, cause it’s like a sport. If you don’t practice you don’t get better. So write a little bit every day. Third, don’t give up. My first book was rejected fourteen times. If I’d given up after five rejections See More or ten, I wouldn’t be here. You just have to keep trying. If you do all three of those things, your odds are much better.”
