Remus has a personality that is similar to Deceit as in that they both enjoy disturbing things, but other than that, they are fairly different. In contrast to Deceit, whose entire schtick is lying, Remus is honest, going even as far as revealing his name on the same day he reveals himself. He is implied to bear resentment towards Roman, as Thomas thought for a long time that Roman embodied all of his creativity while this isn't the case. As such, he boasts himself as being creativity, which is in itself not true.
He also peppers his speech and his song with religious language using words like 'tree of knowledge', as part of him stems from Thomas' Catholic upbringing.
