The last episode of FLCL really has a terrible ending. It's so good! But now I feel like a huge chunk is missing in my heart. ;(

*SPOILERS FOR FLCL*
I think people over think FLCL way too much.
Yes, it obviously is about growing up. But people over think the details more than necessary. Honestly, it's just about baseball, aliens, growing up, a sex-obsessed father, a robot, eyebrows, cats, a Satanist ex-girlfriend, a 12 year old boy, guitars, Naota's brain, and weird powers.
People were so disappointed when Naota and Raharu didn't end up together, but seriously guys, the girl isn't capable if love. And See More Naota was going back and forth from Mamimi and Raharu anyways. Raharu only had eyes for the power she could posses if she could control Naota. And for God's sake, she used him! And manipulated him to make him love her, so he would do anything for her.
I think FLCL is one big metaphor, full of life lessons, but I also think it's just completely random. It's EXTREMELY hard to watch, because lots of people can't comprehend what's going on, and I think the creators meant that to happen.
