I rate the lion king a solid 5/10
The animation was very well done and has way better voice acting than the original
HOWEVER
it’s literally THE SAME THING. If you compared both movies side by side there would be like five differences total. Unlike the upcoming live action of Mulan and the past live action movies like Cinderella and live action Dumbo, that movie stuck to the original and had nothing new to add which was disappointing.
