Arena Part 1
"It'll be all right!" Dawn whispered. I was panicking. All if a sudden the glass tube closed up and I closed my eyes. I opened them. I was in a large field. Thick woods where surrounding it. A simple river ran along one side.
The other tributes all had their eyes focused on the cornucopia. I admit, I did too.

The seconds where counting down. I caught Jake's eye and he signaled at me to run for the woods. I saw a perfectly good set of knives.

I bit my lip. Should I go with Jake, or get a perfectly good weapon?!?!

I sprinted towards the set of knives. I got hold of them. I saw no sight of Jake. Suddenly hands grabbed my neck and I fell to the ground.
It was an Area 3 kid. I took out one of the knifes and slashed at him face. He screamed and backed away.
I took a backpack and ran for the woods. "Where do you think YOU'RE going?" A girls voice said. I cringed.
"Area 1, Lindsay." She said. I nodded. She smiled. "Wanna ally? Rassor from my district is looking for supplies."
I nodded. She tossed me a full water canteen. "We should look for Rassor now." She pulled me along.
