Arena: Final Part
I woke up to the loudspeaker. "Since there are no two tributes from the same area left, two tributes from different areas can win."I shook Nick's arm. "Did you hear that!" He smiled and nodded. "The other two have probably allied." He said grimly. I nodded.
"Lets start going to the cornucopia." I said. He agreed. After long minutes of walking, the centerpiece of the arena was in sight.
Nick had to take a break to rest his arm. "Is it better?" I asked. He unwrapped it and his eyes brightened.
"It's almost fully healed!" He exclaimed. I gave him his bow and arrow. "I guess you can use that now."
We stood in front of the cornucopia. At first, no one was in sight. Then, two shadows emerged.
Another boy and girl. Nick shot an arrow at the girl. It skimmed her, but didn't hurt her.
They started running towards us. The girl took out a blade and the boy took out a dagger. Nick ran around them shooting arrows.
He hurt the girl, but the boy was still at full strength. I started throwing knives at him at full speed.
He dodged every single one. I took out my dagger and fought him myself. He parried my first attack.
I heard a cannon. Nick had defeated the girl tribute. I jabbed at the boy, but he kept moving aside.
I signaled at Nick to attack from behind. He nodded. I attacked the boy, but at the same time Nick shot an arrow at him.
Cannon.
We where victors! I ran over and hugged Nick. He climbed on the cornucopia and held out his hand.
I grabbed it and got on the cornucopia. I was so happy. "What now..." Nick said. "You're supposed to kiss me you idiot!" I exclaimed.
So he did.
